As was the case in the past week, the central Mediterranean will continue to be surrounded by various zones of instability. These will not be intense enough to bring any persistent rainfall to the Maltese Islands, however. We’ll be seeing a mix of different weather conditions. Some days will be sunny, while others will be cloudier. A few isolated showers are also likely on at least one day (Tuesday 16/3). Temperatures, particularly nighttime lows, will be less stable than of recent. We’re expecting minimum temperatures to range from 8°C to 13°C. Daytime highs will remain very consistent, as they continue to hover at the level of 16°C / 17°C. This week will be off to a windy start, as the Northwest to West Northwest wind will reach up to Force 7 till late on Tuesday 16/3. This will subside slightly around midweek, before the wind shifts to a more southerly direction and picks up again for the weekend.
